Marina de Gioiosa Ionica – sleeps 4 to 6 people
This is a great family apartment in Southern Calabria within walking distance to Marina’s beach, which was rated number one in Europe. Entrance is via a beautiful marble staircase. The apartment is all on one floor. Open the door to a huge kitchen with balcony and a pull out couch area with plenty of room for entertaining. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezer and a stove and oven. There is no dishwasher. Off the hallway to the left is a bedroom fully furnished with a queen size bed and two hutches and an armoire. The master bedroom is fully furnished with a queen size bed, huge armoire, two end tables and a hutch with mirror. It has a walk out to balcony. Next to the master bedroom is a five-piece bathroom with tub and shower. It also has a washing machine and a window. The apartment is very conveniently located with a supermarket across the street where you can find groceries and other necessities. Hardware store and pharmacy are also near by. Clothing stores, shoe stores, butcher, antique stores and church are all within walking distance. The popular Golesia Café has live bands in the evenings, and is only about five minutes away. It is fully air conditioned for summer and heated for winter. It is a perfect place for a family and it will sleep 4 to 6 people. There is parking for one car. Soverato is half an hour drive, and is also accessible by train. The train station is 5 minutes away. It is a very interesting area with historical sites and a National Parc within an easy drive. Reggio Calabria is about 40 minutes away, where you can take the boat to Sicily. Rome is a six hour drive.
